Aisle One:
As parents, we can feel challenged by the constant pressures of child rearing and wonder when to say, "When!" We often find ourselves flashing back to that classic Seinfeld episode and shouting in unison, "Serenity Now!"

Mind Matters will offer you Parenting Tips for you to ponder and wander into your own pediatrician's or therapist's office to discuss.

As women, sometimes we just need to work on ourselves. What is our identity outside of Mother and Wife?

Mind Matters will help you ask yourself questions about your own interests and whether or not you are feeding your emotional needs accordingly.

Aisle Three:
Often times our life cues come from dreams and our unconscious. Ever wonder what your dreams mean or symbolize?

Mind Matters will offer some insight to interpretting dreams and using dreams as a resource guide.

Shop Owner:
Shawn Klein is currently a Marriage & Family Therapist with a private practice in Southern California.  She counsels children, adolescents and adults on issues including but not limited to; individuation, depression, anxiety, substance abuse, eating disorders and suicide.  Her specialty is working with individuals at the mid-life stage of development. She helps clients in her private practice to identify their passion in life or authentic path of development by working with unconscious images accessed through dreams, art and poetry.
 
Currently she is a Candidate in the Control Phase of analytic training at the C.G. Jung Study Center of Southern California.  She also has a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from UCLA.  Professional affiliations are with the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapist and the Santa Barbara Friends of Jung.  She is also a regular speaker for National Charity League on Eating Disorder, Drug and Alcohol Abuse and Dreams.
