While you are there: Check out the artist designed furnishings in the lobby. Reserve a VIP table in the Redwood Room. Dine at Asia de Cuba. Then walk out the front doors and find yourself exploring Union Square and Nob Hill.
Be careful: If there is a wheelbarrow chair in your room, it is not a good idea to let your husband push you around in it. Trust me, I have the scar to prove it.
